Welcome to the Weimar Farmers Market, where we champion local farmers and artisans. Our market is your one-stop destination for fresh produce, handmade treasures, and homemade delights. Join us every 2nd Saturday from March to November, between 8 AM and 12 PM. We provide a space for local farmers and vendors to showcase the fruits of their labor, and there's no participation fee. The Ole Dad Farm in Weimar, Texas, produces vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Some of their crops are pumpkins, gourds, green and yellow beans, all bell, hot peppers, and some tomatoes. During late fall to early winter, they have spinach, various lettuces, radishes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, carrots, sweet potatoes, leeks, and green onions. And during late spring to summer, they have some green vegetables and yellow beans, squashes, tomatoes, bell and hot peppers, cucumbers, and many more! Most of their fruits are available during early spring except pears that are available during summer and oranges during early winter. Ole Dad Farm offers a range of brown and green eggs, and they have available fresh processed chicken and turkeys. Their pigs are fed with a natural diet if grains. The farm is open every day, but please call them before coming to reserve a scheduled time for you! Come and visit!

Four generations of the Frerichs family have been milking Jersey cows just outside La Grange for over 65 years. Today, 100 cows are milked twice every day at the farm. They sell Artisanal products like Milk, Eggs, and Cheese. They turned the love for their Jersey cows into something they can share with you. The Frerichs at The Jersey Barnyard are some of the best people you will find around La Grange. Their passion for the American farm and all that it stands for are obvious. They are super hard working and love to share their love for the farm life and farm fresh products with people from all walks of life. You can book a tour at the farm and interact with guinea hens, chickens, ducks, turkeys, piglets, lambs and of course, milk cows!
