Rancho Loma Vineyards (Coleman) is located in "Coleman, Texas" which "might be a little off the beaten path for some" but it is "worth the drive". If you want "a quiet evening, good food, good wine, and a good environment then it's worth the quick drive". The winery and tasting room is "in an old refurbished storefront in town and has been very well done". Its "decor and feel is very polished and modern, clean and open". This is a "great place" with "live music and guest chefs" and "the variety, great food, and awesome wines make this a go-to place". There are also "lots of space for an event or special occasion". This is definitely "a beautiful stop on a long drive". They have "great wines" such as the "Cohesion Blend" and "Dulce Rojo". You will be "regretting not joining their wine club" when you leave.\ Rancho Loma Vineyards (Coleman) is included in Kim’s 7 Great Take Out Deals in Fort Worth During Covid-19. Even without a pandemic, they’re still worth checking out!

You will enjoy "stopping in and tasting a few" of their "fabulous wines" at Seifert Cellars and Wild West Vines. Their "page address was "sniped" so make sure to visit them at the correct address which is the one with a hyphen between the Seifert and Cellars, especially if you want to check their calendar or contact them. When you are going to visit them, they do not recommend entering their address into a GPS Navigational System as there are several Lake Ivie (Ivey) Drives in their area, and electronic devices often do not provide correct navigational results. It is better to contact them first before visiting. Also, due to decreased activity at Lake Ivie this summer, their Tasting Room is currently only open by appointment. Please contact them at least one week before your visit to schedule your appointment.

When you are on "the road between Abilene and Austin or roads in-between", try to "make it a point to stop" to Spirit of Texas Winery. This is a "sublime" place. The owners "really made a good set up" and "it feels like home, but better decorated". There are games on the patio and it’s dog-friendly. They also "offer Yoga classes and Painting Classes". You will enjoy a "glass of wine" and the "best part" is that the owners will "make you feel right at home and do their best to make your visit the best it can be". Visit and if you "tasted a few wines" such as the "red varietals as well as the rosé", you will be "very pleased with the wines!".

"The atmosphere at Brennan Vineyards is awesome" at this winery located at the junction of the state's most acclaimed wine grape regions. They have "wines that are good for those just getting into drinking wine as well as some excellent wines for more sophisticated palates". The  "staff is superb" and their place is "a beautiful setting to enjoy the afternoon". There is a "wonderful selection of reds, whites, sweet, dry" wines such as the award-winning Super Nero which is a "perfect blend for any taste" and it pairs well with a "venison tenderloin, pizza, and brisket". They also have Wenzel Lonestar Meat Company (Hamilton, TX) meats and cheeses available for purchase. "The owner and his staff are SO WELL VERSED in exceeding customer expectations in both wine quality and service. If you enjoy California wines and are uneasy about trying Texas wines, start here! You'll enjoy the wine, the service, and the trip!"

Wines of Dotson Cervantes is "a great place to relax and enjoy", located in  Voca, Texas. Visit them and you will feel how welcoming they are because "the owner makes you feel right at home". You will also remark that "the atmosphere is inviting, and the wine is fantastic". They make Gotas de Oro (Drops of Gold) Muscat Canelli which was first presented in the Fall of 2009 as well as world-class merlot, chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon grapes produced in the Texas Hill Country. They have already been featured in Saveur Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, Austin American-Statesman and Chicago Tribune which really shows how remarkable their vineyard is. After visiting, this can be one of your "very favorite places in the Hill Country!"

Visit and taste "the Viognier from Wedding Oak Winery, a lovely and crisp Texas wine that grows well in this climate" of Texas. Their "rose and dolcetto are yummy" too. Enjoy it in the "lovely" "tasting room". They also have a "very nice back patio where you can drink a bottle of wine and order food from area restaurants". Their "wines are excellent and they have many different varieties for the different palates and preferences". The wines are "Texas Terroir focused" and made "approachable and easy to drink", all are "well rounded and structured". You will also "love the heritage behind the name" of their winery.
