Established in 1986, Newsom Vineyards has always sought to produce the highest quality grapes in Texas. They are "located in a refurbished 1910 historic home" which is "on the main drag driving through tiny Comfort, Texas". The owners "are friendly and there is a nice courtyard with tables to enjoy a glass of wine". Their tasting room is "roomy", very "warm and inviting, rich in rustic wood".
