Operating under the Texas Cottage Food Law, Pickle Me Green is a home-based food business that manufactures artisan pickles, jams, jellies, salsa, natural body products, drink mixes, cakes in a jar, and bread in a jar, using the freshest ingredients and essential oils when appropriate. Lorah, the owner, started this company in 2011. To date, she’s now selling more than 21 varieties of her products. Her items are very unique yet versatile. The “Monkey butter” mixed with “vanilla Shakeology is fabulous” and definitely a must-try. The “Jalapeño Jelly” is “a li’l sweet, li’l spicy.” It works “amazing” with some “special ribs” made “in the crockpot!” And be sure not to miss her “blueberry-lime” because “pancakes will never be the same unless they are topped with this Pickle Me Green jam.” Catch them at select farmers' markets or purchase their products at the Blue Vendors Villa in Goliad.
