Southern Heart Farmstead began with the dream of having a self-sustaining, high-quality food source for their family and friends. What started with 20 hens and a small egg business is now growing into providing ethically raised, pastured poultry for the local community. They offer pastured broilers raised on things that make chickens very happy, namely bugs, grass, and all good things pastured. Their eggs come from happy hens that spend their days around the pasture hunting for grub to eat and lounging under the shade of local foliage.
