Fairview Town is situated in Collin County, in the US state of Texas. According to 2018 estimates, the town’s population stands at 9,092. It is adjacent to Heard Wildlife Sanctuary. The town was incorporated in 1958. The town is located on State Highway 5 and Farm Road 1378. Fairview’s growth was stimulated by the growth of nearby Plano which became a business center in the 1960s. Fairview was incorporated in early 1960s with a population of 175. By 1970, the population had grown to 325 and 893 in1981. If further grew to 1,554 by 1990 and about 2,644 by 2000.
