Hackamore Ranch in Thorndale, Texas is 800 acres of pasture land dedicated to the raising of pasture-raised Dorper ewes, cross of Blackhead Persian ewe with Dorset Horn, without any hormones, antibiotics,or or animal byproducts. .This breed of lamb produces much more mild and sweet flavor than traditional lamb or mutton, which makes it more desirable than other breeds. McGeary Family Farm is a sustainable,  grass-based farm run by Mike and Judith McGeary. We raise our animals as close to their natural state as possible, which makes them healthier and happier. We work hard to improve the soil and increase the diversity of our plants, and provide natural supplements. The result is a healthy environment, healthy animals, and nutritious food. Our sheep and cattle graze on pesticide-free and herbicide-free pastures, with organically-grown alfalfa hay as a treat. Our animals are never fed any grain, so their meat is low in fat, yet high in Omega-3, CLA, Vitamin E, and other important nutrients. We also have a small orchard with plums, pomegranates, pears, figs, and grapes, all organically managed.  We also seasonally have vegetables and melons from our garden.  We are not certified organic, but use all organic practices and inputs.

Red White & Moo Farm, which is located in Troy, Texas, is a small dairy farm that produces raw milk, thanks to the farm's small but well-loved, free-to-graze herd of cows. If you want to drink unpasteurized and non-homogenized milk, you should order your milk here. The farm is owned and managed by military veterans. Their new mission is to provide the community with healthy and nutritious milk! The milk is produced, filtered, cooled, and bottled right here on the farm. They are very particular when it comes to sanitizing the equipment they use to ensure that the milk you get from them is clean. The milk is legally sold and permitted for sale by the Texas Health and Human Services. The farm is licensed and the dairy here is inspected by a registered sanitarian. Milk samples are tested at a Texas-certified lab for milk quality. Come as often as you like and buy as much as they want!
