Neal’s Berry Farm in Waller, TX is a working farm. It features a “U-Pick” (pick your own fruits and vegetables) activity for the whole family. The farm opened in 2009 in Spring, TX. However, they moved to its present location starting in 2018. The kids will love walking up and down the farm’s rows of thorn-less berries and figs - the farm's main crops - to fill their own baskets. They also have some vegetables and zinnias available for U-Pick. The farm has secondary crops of peaches, nectarines, and other orchard fruits and vegetables but these are pre-picked and only available for sale at their farm stand located within the property. The Laughing Frog Farm is a small farm in Waller County, Texas. It is a 21-acres farm that is sitting in a partially wooded land. Since then, the farm is using permaculture methods and organic principles in raising their trees, vegetables, and gulf. They are mostly raising heritage breeds like Coast, Native Sheep, and Freedom Ranger chickens. Wolff Family Farm, in Spring, Texas, is a family farm producing aquaponic lettuce and various vegetables to sell direct to the public at various farmers markets. You can buy from them when they sell at Brazos Valley Farmers' Market or The Groves. Besides aquaponic lettuce, they also sell celery, red vein sorrel, mixed green salad, Asian greens, tomatoes, broccoli and broccoli leaves, cut microgreens, cilantro, and turnips. All of these are produced in the 230-acre farm which is already 110-year-old.
