In Bogata, you can find Floating O Farms that is the first commercial and organic elderberry farm in Texas. Since April 1, 2015, Jason & Dani Morris has been running and operating the farm. Their elderberries have Vitamins A, B and C, iron, potassium, and antioxidants. Moreover, they practice sustainable farming methods for the cultivation and growth of their produce. Their goal is to offer local organic nutraceuticals fresh from their farm for your health supplement needs. Also, they are happy to share their knowledge in the expansion of elderberry alongside other farmers, cooperatives, and manufacturers. Darby Farms Natural Beef is an East Texas-based beef and dairy farm located near Gilmer Texas which is approximately 100 miles east of Dallas. They have approximately 200 beef cows that are all bred to registered Black Angus bulls. They raised their animals humanely and naturally without using any hormones or antibiotics implanted on the cattle. All their cows feed on Bermuda/Bahai grass-based pastures. These cows are bred to registered Black Angus bulls which results in a calf that is at least 1/2 Black Angus. Many of their cows are 1/2 Angus which makes their calves 3/4 Angus. This is the same type of cattle as those in the popular Certified Angus Beef program. You can buy beef by the whole, half or quarter. Smaller packages are also available for those who have limited freezer space. You can also inquire about their free shipping or delivery.

Ball Orchard has over a hundred fruit and nut trees including apples, pears, cherries, plums, figs, peaches, avocados, oranges, bananas, pecans, and hazelnuts.  You can also find a vineyard, vegetable garden, a greenhouse, and berries. They also offer a large selection of herbs and spices, canned and packaged products. A herd of sheep and a flock of chickens also assist with mowing, insect control, and fertilizing. Capers N Conn’s is a self-sufficient farm ran and owned by Fred Capers and Deborah Capers. The farm is located in Marietta, Texas. It is the quintessential farm, with cows, chickens, and dogs, and vegetables and fruit trees. They sell different cuts of pork and beef. They also have hamburger patties, chorizo, pork Italian sausage, and more. They also sell what they harvest from the farm - a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables like mayhaw, Roma tomatoes, watermelon, beets, garlic, collard greens, Siberian kale, turnip and turnip greens, radish, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, and broccoli. They also have red, yellow, and Texas sweet onions. They set aside something from the harvest for canning. They've sold pickles, garlic dill jalapeño pickles, pickled beets, salsa verde, pickled peaches, wild plum jelly, pickled green beans, dewberry jelly, wild muscadine jelly, and pickled carrots. They usually sell it at the local farmers' markets.
