Gordon Street Tavern is a “full-service casual dining tavern” in Alvin, Texas. Located at a building dated back from the 1880s, the tavern is open daily but hours vary so check their website for details. It is part of the same group that runs the Barbed Rose in Alvin. Besides an extensive menu of delicious offerings, the tavern has over 30 craft beers on tap. Some of the beers are creations of the tavern, while others are from various popular brewers around the U.S. Savor delicious salads, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees, and ask for the bar’s recommended pairings. The tavern also features a space for special events. It can seat around 40 people.

Vallenson's Brewing Company is a bit tucked away and surrounded by warehouses. This is "a great little spot for a good beer!" It is an "excellent little 3-barrel brewery with comfortable inside and outside seating areas". "It's got a great outdoor space: a small (but roomy) patio that opens onto a huge yard with a large tree growing in the center". Also, "they brew everything there, and they constantly have new stuff on the rotation since their system is designed for pretty small batches". They are also "dog-friendly and family-friendly with a large outdoor space for kids to play!" Bakfish Brewing Company has a distinction that no one can ever take away -- Pearland’s first craft brewery and brewpub. Established by friends Brian Allen and Kris Szecsy, they quit their jobs to establish the brewery in 2016. Houston metro area’s third largest city was somewhat of a “beer desert” because it had no local brewery of its own prior to its opening. With a 2,000 square foot air-conditioned taproom and a large covered patio, the brewery accommodates seating for about 300. There are five flagship brews including I Tell You Wit (a Belgian wit bier), Golden Ale (a blond ale), and Defying Gravity double IPA, with rotating seasonal and small batch releases at the taproom. The brewery does not serve food but has scheduled rotating food trucks onsite. Guests can also have food delivered or bring their own at the family- and dog-friendly brewpub.

Texas Leaguer Brewing Company is a brewery with a baseball theme. Owner Nathan Rees invites you to join him and his staff from Friday to Sunday (hours vary) to “come watch a game on (their) big screen, play games, or hear some live music”. The brewery occupies a 12,000 sq ft warehouse set with communal picnic tables. The adjacent patio is dog-friendly and perfect for good weather days. With about seven beers on tap, the sports-centric bar gives heavy emphasis on baseball. Choose from their lineup using the big green baseball scorecard that lists available beers. Drop by on Farm System Fridays and catch their small batch releases. There’s also Little Leaguer Root Beer for the kids and the kids-at-heart.

Established in 2016, Saloon Door Brewing Company is the creator of several popular and critically acclaimed brews including “Tasty AF Peanut Butter & Chocolate Milk Stout, I Must Break You Russian Imperial Stout, Panhandler Pale Ale and many others.” They make their craft beer in house with a 10-barrel system using only the finest ingredients available. They also focus on sustainable sourcing, using local vendors, and making maximum efforts to keep carbon footprint at an absolute minimum. Their rustic, “old west taproom” is roughly 2400 sq ft that can comfortable fit about 150 people. They have a big board where you can see the available brews that changes weekly, but they usually have between 16-20 ice cold, delicious, craft beers available on tap and/or on nitro. If beer isn’t your thing, they also have a house red and white wine, hard cider, soda and water available for you!

Together with partners Jeffrey Hajovsky, Jeremy Hajovsky, and Patrick Ivey, Jeremiah Ivey founded Fulbrook Ale Works. A U.S. Army combat veteran, he is also the head brewer for this young brewery located in Richmond. The brewery started operations in February 2018 after purchasing the brewery and taproom of Texian Brewing in August 2017. The two companies have since entered into a contracted brewing arrangement. Open 7 days a week, Fulbrook’s taproom is great for guests with kids and pets. It currently features a lineup of six beers, and owing to Ivey’s background, all have military-themed names. The brewery and taproom accepts reservations for events as well.
