Texas Wine Shop and Acai Wine Winery is a nice quaint little winery" that has "wonderful service, comfortable setting, great music". The "atmosphere" is "so relaxing". They also serve weekly dinner specials and you will be "so impressed" with "fish and shrimp tacos, shrimp bruschetta" as well as specialty meat and cheese trays. Their "wine is unique" and it is recommended, "to anyone who likes muscadine wine". If it's getting hot, you can cool off with a Frozen Winearita. They also have a gift shop that features items for hard-to-shop-for friends and family. Acai Wine Winery along with Texas Custom Wine Works are key players for Texas Wine Shop.

Teysha Vineyard

Winery in Huntsville -

You will have an "extraordinary experience at Teysha Vineyard" because of the "great wine and ambiance". It is a "gem" to the "Huntsville area" and they have only started wine sales in April 2019. There are "so many delicious varietals" and "some very unique varieties" which you can enjoy along with "cheese and crackers". You can have flights with a four or six wine selection and you can do the tasting at the tasting bar or at one of their numerous tables in the tasting room. "Visit because there is always something new to discover" aside from the "atmosphere and views" that are "absolutely beautiful". They are located not too far from Interstate 45.

The 501 Winery

Winery in Childress -

The 501 Winery is a "great place for relaxing" plus "they have a good selection of wines and gifts". Their "Moscato" is a "little bubbly and perfect" while their "Tempranillo" is "very true to the varietal". When you "stopped" to visit, you will agree that "great employees make the winery so special". They do not have a website but you can always check their Facebook page if you want to contact them regarding opening hours and wine tasting. Even if you are "a hardcore wine guru or a novice, 501 has something to delight your palate". They are located in historic downtown Childress, Texas and their winery was named after the "501" "locomotive". Their "patio is amazing and it's dog-friendly" and an "extra plus" is that "they make a great cheese plate".

The Triple D Winery and Restaurant

Winery in Brownfield -

The Triple D is Terry County's first Winery/Restaurant that serves homemade lunches and also a Winery with TEXAS Wines. They are located "right off the downtown square". Come and experience a Terry County Grown Texas Wine today. You will "loved the old rustic style, the pavilion for entertainment, the corral for seating". Visit and enjoy "some burgers and chicken dinners can be ordered with your wine". They have a "large open eating area, done in a light wood cabin style dining room, with a viewing window on the wine production". The "atmosphere is casual, but it's upscale as well" with "cool music" and the "staff is excellent!"

The Wine Garage

Winery in Fredericksburg -

You will have "a great wine experience, especially if you have guys with you who enjoy cars" when you visit The Wine Garage. The "tasting comes with a tour of the classic cars in the back" which will be "so much fun". The "employees are happy, energetic, and always welcoming". You will really "enjoy the tasting here" with wines such as the "mimosa and malbec" which are "great". They have an "impressive selection of wines" and they "specialize in dry reds and whites". It's a "really unique tasting experience" with an "owner" that is "more than happy to interact with guests and tell" guests "about his collection of absolutely jaw-dropping and amazing cars".

Torr Na Lochs Vineyard and Winery

Winery in Burnet -

Torr Na Lochs Vineyard and Winery is a "family-owned and operated winery", "it's an absolute must-visit if you're" in the Highland Lakes area of the Texas Hill Country. They are "particularly easy to reach from the north side of Austin". The winery has "great views of Inks Lake and Lake Buchanan in distance in the hill country". Their wines are "flavorful and delicious" and they have a "decent selection of red and whites". Their "blood-red Texas Star Tempranillo is a standout, though there are three whites that also deserve your attention - the sweet Muscat Blanc, the Fion Geal, and the slightly drier Albarino". You can also pair your wines with their "cheese plate" which "is very good".

Triple R Ranch & Winery

Winery in Whitesboro -

The Triple R Ranch & Winery is one of Texas’ most hidden treasures. This is a private game ranch not open for public tours or visitation. This is "such a beautiful ranch" where you can "love the animals" and will be "getting to see them walking around in their natural habitat!!" It is the "perfect environment for a much-needed retreat or the venue of a beautiful wedding!"  You may need to contact them if you want to reserve the Ranch for a corporate function. Aside from the ranch, there is also a winery "where award-winning wines are made" such as Gold Medal-winning Gewurztraminer. They also have a small Wine Tasting Room in Historic Downtown McKinney where they sell the Ranch Wines exclusively.

Val Verde Winery

Winery in Del Rio -

Val Verde Winery is an essential stop if you’re visiting Del Rio. You will have a "nice time" even though "there is no actual tour of the facility" because "you can walk around to see the vineyard on your own". As the "oldest winery in Texas", "they don't just make superb-tasting wine" but they also "provide a cozy environment to sit and have a glass". There are "tables" where "you can sit outside and relax while sipping wine too". They "are located well off the beaten path, and they have a very quaint and well-kept property". It "is authentic and has a rich history" and "you will not be disappointed!" 

Valley Mills Vineyards

Winery in Valley Mills -

Valley Mills Vineyards is a full-production family-run winery just west of Waco, TX. Their wines, including benchmark Texas Tempranillo, are made from 100% Texas-grown grapes. These grapes primarily come from vineyards in Bosque county, including the 12 acres that they farm. Their belief is that great wines are grown, not made, informs intensive farming practices and minimal-intervention winemaking methods. The tasting room at their Estate Winery is open daily from 12-6 PM, and guests can expect high-level service and Texas hospitality.

Vingo Vineyards

Winery in Dalhart -

Vingo Vineyards is located in the historic former post office. It's a "modernized, perfectly redesigned, and tastefully decorated" place. They are "truly a gem in Dalhart". This is a "good place to meet up with friends whether a wine drinker or not they are welcoming to all". They are also a "great venue for parties and events". Visit and try a flight of six preselected Texas wines. They also offer cheese and charcuterie plates to pair with your wines, and outside food is always welcome. This the "best way to spend a Friday evening - sipping a glass of wine in their lovely location!"

Vinovium

Winery in Johnson City -

Vinovium is  "not" a "typical winery and tasting room" because they "partner with other wineries to offer a wide variety of flavors" and "they also have some pretty unique cocktails made with wine and wine on tap!" The "ambiance" is "nice" and they have "a big deck with a lot of outdoor seating". It's an "awesome patio and breeze on a beautiful summer day". There is a "large selection of rotating wines on tap" and you can even "get a bottle filled there to take home that can be brought back to reduce on waste". This is a "plus", especially for environmental issues. Aside from having "special events periodically", they are "open later than others". With a "very friendly staff, casual vibe and dog-friendly" place, you will surely have a "great time!"

Vintners Hideaway

Winery in Fredericksburg -

The place was originally built in the 1930s. It was a Nash Rambler auto dealership before becoming Vintners Hideaway, an upscale wine tasting room with a very cool vibe. They are "tucked just 1 block off the square". It's a "lovely tasting room with a number of varietals just off Main and away from the crowds". They have "several vintners’ wines as well as a few they bottle" and they offer a "variety of whites, rose, and reds". They also have "very knowledgeable and attentive staff" that are "enthusiastic and excited to teach" and "help novice wine drinkers". It's a great experience visiting this winery and "enjoy an intimate experience often lost on busy Main Street".

"When it's been a long day you open the good stuff!" Just like the "Watson Vineyard's Symphony" which is a great wine you can have. Watson Vineyard produces other wines that you can buy from selected establishments like the "Red 1 Delta" which is available at "Rancho Pizzeria". You will also be able to sample "some great wines at 34 Liquors" and will find "the white and Red" to be "superb". You can also volunteer during their harvest period and for sure, you will have "good times". Their website is currently under construction but you can check out their Facebook page where they post updates on their activities.

Wedding Oak Winery

Visit and taste "the Viognier from Wedding Oak Winery, a lovely and crisp Texas wine that grows well in this climate" of Texas. Their "rose and dolcetto are yummy" too. Enjoy it in the "lovely" "tasting room". They also have a "very nice back patio where you can drink a bottle of wine and order food from area restaurants". Their "wines are excellent and they have many different varieties for the different palates and preferences". The wines are "Texas Terroir focused" and made "approachable and easy to drink", all are "well rounded and structured". You will also "love the heritage behind the name" of their winery.

West Sandy Creek Winery

The "patio at West Sandy Creek Winery is huge with fans to make it comfortable to sit outside" and "there are grapevines, zebras, horses and a camel to sit and watch as you sip the wine". You can also "feed the animals carrots". Your children will have "fun feeding the animals and walking the property". This "property is gorgeous, the hors d'oeuvres enjoyable, the wine delicious, and the service fabulous". The "tastings" are "great" and "the wines vary".  You can even "ask for the "off the tastings" card wines if you don't see something you want to try". It is "a lovely experience" and your visit will be really "worth it!"

Whistling Duck Winery and Vineyard

Whistling Duck Winery and Vineyard is located a little “off-the-beaten-path” but once you arrived you will find that it is "certainly a gem". Their "wines are truly unique and each as wonderful as the next". The "2016 Viognier" is "semi-sweet with honey and apricot notes and a touch of effervescence". When you taste the "Chocolate Duck", it is "like drinking a chocolate-covered cherry" and the "aroma is so enticing, like that chocolate cherry, with a bit of muskiness added". These two are just some of the "unique wines" that you can enjoy tasting when you visit this place. They also have "a couple of food platters to go with the wine". You will truly enjoy visiting because "on scheduled Saturday afternoons there is live music and one can sit out on the porch and enjoy the music, wine, and scenery".

White Fox Vineyards

White Fox Vineyards is a family-owned boutique winery located in the heart of East Texas. This place "is lovely and tranquil". It's a "good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life or a good place to enjoy a delicious glass of wine". The place is "a very quaint place" with a "patio area outside where you can picnic and drink wine". It also has a "very fun and laid back atmosphere with live music and several different wines to taste". Their "staff is very friendly and knowledgable as they guide you through a tasting". You will be "leaving with a bottle no matter your taste in wines".

William Chris Vineyards

Winery in Hye -

William Chris Vineyards "is a very beautiful winery with beautiful views" of "hill country and vineyards". There are "lots of outdoor seating". You can enjoy listening to "good country music at a good volume". To achieve wines that taste "great", they use minimum handling, low-impact techniques to produce premium old world wines. You will "loved the wines" such as "the Mourvèdre and Roussane". Their tasting room in Hye, Texas is a remodeled 100-year-old farmhouse. Their "new tasting room is extremely impressive" too. You will have a "very relaxing and enjoyable" experience. You can also "pack a picnic, and spend an afternoon here". They also "even offer Military discount".

Windy Winery

Winery in Brenham -

Windy Winery is a small winery right outside of Brenham and it's "a family business". There is "live music, a beautiful patio, and the inside bar" is "spacious too". It "is not a fancy winery like some but it's relaxed and the wines are great". They have "at least 20 selections of wines from very dry to very sweet". The wines are "very flavorful" such as "the Jal-spice" which is "a lovely rose with hints of jalapeño". You can also order "a cheese tray" that has "some housemade crackers" which are "delicious" because they were "soaked in oil, Parmesan and herbs". You can not bring your dogs here because this is a working vineyard.

Wines of Dotson Cervantes

Winery in Voca -

Wines of Dotson Cervantes is "a great place to relax and enjoy", located in  Voca, Texas. Visit them and you will feel how welcoming they are because "the owner makes you feel right at home". You will also remark that "the atmosphere is inviting, and the wine is fantastic". They make Gotas de Oro (Drops of Gold) Muscat Canelli which was first presented in the Fall of 2009 as well as world-class merlot, chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon grapes produced in the Texas Hill Country. They have already been featured in Saveur Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, Austin American-Statesman and Chicago Tribune which really shows how remarkable their vineyard is. After visiting, this can be one of your "very favorite places in the Hill Country!"
