Paris Vineyards is a "nice little quaint place" located in the most northeastern winery in Texas. They opened in Paris, Texas with the idea of a vineyard during a trip to Missouri. They can be found across the street from Paris Coffee Company. With "great wine" and "friendly people", you will find the place "very charming, both in the way it looked and customer service". Their "Cabernet Sauvignon" is "amazing". You can also have "free wine and wine-a-rita tastings" such as the "Strawberry Mango wine-a-rita" at several Farmers Market. Check the posts on their Facebook page regarding any updates on any events and if you want to "stop in" to "try some wine".

You will have "the best wine experience" in your "wine tour" of Pedernale's Winery. This provides a "more upscale stop with an incredible wine selection". They have been featuring award-winning wines as well as tours of the largest underground barrel cellar in Texas which is truly enjoyable. The "patio and scenic views" that "provide a chill vibe to enjoy a glass of wine" ensures an "amazing time". You will have "a gorgeous day" and it will "not disappoint" you as you enjoy their "very laid back atmosphere". They are located "on top of a hill and the views of the hill country are second to none".

Pedernales Cellars is located "about 5 minutes away from the main highway but still easy to find since is the only big thing on that road". The place is "about two miles from the main road into Fredericksburg so you don't hear the traffic driving by". This is a "more upscale stop with an incredible wine selection". You will love the "patio and scenic views" that "provide a chill vibe to enjoy a glass of wine". They are also "a family and pet-friendly establishment" since you can leave your "dogs on leashes" and they "are ok outside". Check out their website for the "live music" events which makes "the ambiance extra special".

Perissos Vineyards

Perissos Vineyards is "located right in the valley of Inks Lake State Park" which is "about an hour out from Austin". You will be "completely enchanted by the ambiance" and "you'll see vineyards galore" which is "breathtakingly beautiful". This place "is most reminiscent of Napa". This is a "great winery with a large outdoor space for parties and groups". It is "easy to spend an entire day relaxing and drinking good wine" with family or friends. Come and visit "without expectations" and you will leave "educated and inspired". This is "hands down one of the best spots near Marble Falls to visit".

Phinesse Farms

Winery in Sulphur Springs -

Phinesse Farms is a local vineyard with a storefront winery in downtown Sulphur Springs. You can "just swing in and have a glass of their Merlot" which is very good and "it's to die for!" You can also try the "Carmel Apple winerita" which is "just perfect on a hot afternoon". They also offer home winemaking classes throughout the year. You can contact them or check their website for the schedule of events and "live music" which they sometimes have "on weekends". Aside from the "wonderful wine", they also have the "friendliest folks" and you can even "enjoy" a "conversation with the owner".

Pillar Bluff Vineyards

Winery in Lampasas -

Pillar Bluff Vineyards is "an exceptional 'boutique' winery out in the wilds of Lampasas", on the northern edge of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. It has a "small tasting room but it is perfect with just the right amount of room". It is "homey" and it "lacks the pretentiousness of other wineries". The owner is "usually there and is always ready to sit and visit". "He and his wife" will "go out of their way to make you feel at home". All of the wines are "super but the reds and dessert wines" will "stand out" for anyone. Also, you can be "lucky" when "show up on a pizza day" since "Gil can cook almost as good as he makes wine". He is also a "beekeeper" so check out their "sweet supply of local honey".

You will "love the layback vibe of Pleasant Hill Winery". It is "interesting to see the old school winemaking process". They also have events and activities where you will enjoy and have "so much fun" such as the grape picking then "getting to “STOMP” them". You might be "able to put" your "footprints on a keepsake T-shirt". They have "a variety of wines to drink while you enjoy the nice view of the hill country". They have "some good sweet wines" such as the "Sweet Rose" which is recommended, "if you're into sweet wines". There is "something for every wine drinker", from the "novice to those with sophisticated" palates.

Pontotoc Vineyard

All of their wines are made with at least a portion of the grapes grown at Pontotoc Vineyard and are named after historic locations and geological formations in the Northern Hill Country. "The owners are beautiful" and "the location itself is so unique and gives you such a great glimpse into history". They have the "oldest building in the town and they have really taken such good care of it". The setting "definitely gives you the German vibe of the beer gardens". Their "Sangria" is "exceptional" and "ice-cold, tangy, not too sweet - perfect for a late summer evening sitting in their lovely Weingarten". The food pairings are "delicious" such as "pimento cheese and pecans" which are "very tasty". This winery "is a MUST stop when in Fredericksburg". A "great little hidden gem" which "is well worth the walk from the busy downtown shops".

Rancho Loma Vineyards (Coleman)

Rancho Loma Vineyards (Coleman) is located in "Coleman, Texas" which "might be a little off the beaten path for some" but it is "worth the drive". If you want "a quiet evening, good food, good wine, and a good environment then it's worth the quick drive". The winery and tasting room is "in an old refurbished storefront in town and has been very well done". Its "decor and feel is very polished and modern, clean and open". This is a "great place" with "live music and guest chefs" and "the variety, great food, and awesome wines make this a go-to place". There are also "lots of space for an event or special occasion". This is definitely "a beautiful stop on a long drive". They have "great wines" such as the "Cohesion Blend" and "Dulce Rojo". Even without a pandemic, they’re still worth checking out!

Red Caboose Winery

If you just "stopped in on an unplanned visit to Red Caboose Winery", you will have an "awesome surprise". This place is like an "oasis in the middle of nowhere". This winery is a "very quiet place where you can relax with friends and sample some delicious reds and whites". It is a "quaint little hidden treasure in the middle of the hill country". They "grow their own grapes" and "they ferment in French barrels, two to three times more expensive than Kentucky oak". Check out their website for any updates. They have two locations as posted on their website. Their Meridian location is temporarily close so they recommend visiting the Clifton tasting room and deli. "Nice operation" with "a great view". You must "give them a try". You will be "greeted by Buddy the dog, very sweet dog" too.

You can visit the Red House Winery in "the oldest town in Texas", Nacogdoches. This is a "super charming and colorful place" located "in a renovated 120-year old building". They have the "2016 Sangiovese" wine which is "a shining star in their lineup" of "Red, White, and New Releases". They created an "international buzz" for the "13 awards" they have won in the "oldest wine competition in Texas". The "owners have established a very spacious and relaxing lounge area in the back for you to sip and enjoy your wine in style". There is "live music sometimes as well as fun events". With award-winning Texas wines, this winery is "a great addition to downtown Nacogdoches".

Red Road Vineyard and Winery's original brick structure, built in the 1890s, housed the first power and ice company. It has "great wines" and the location is "just as great". You will "love the history and the atmosphere of the tasting room in Naples". It is "so relaxed and at home feeling". It "serves the most delicious wine and ports". You will also "loved the atmosphere" aside from their wines. They also have an "amazing" staff that "goes above and beyond". You will end up joining "the wine club" because you will "believe in this place". The "passion for the wine and the success of Red Road is so refreshing".

Red Wing Dove Vineyard and Winery is "a beautiful place at the top of the Hill Country to enjoy some great wine and wonderful company". They are "really out of the way and barely marked but once you find" them, it is a "Total Gem" and "their wine selections will please any tastes". The owners are "nice", "very friendly, welcoming and passionate" and "very knowledgeable about their wines". Try their "Sangria" which is the "best" you will have "tasted anywhere". You will also "loved the Shiraz and Tempranillo" which are "both grown onsite". Their "tasting room is cozy, and outdoor patio overlooking the vineyard is very nice to sit out on". It is "well worth the drive" and "even if you're just passing through Hamilton", it is "a perfect place to stop by".

Rohan Meadery

Winery in La Grange -

Blissful Folly Farm is home to Rohan Meadery and Blissful Folly Hard ciders & fruit wines. This is "definitely worth a day trip from Texas City" and "finding the place isn't too bad so long as you are paying attention to signs on the side of the road". There is also "a good sign on TX-159 pointing out which farm road to take". Their "mead is delicious and the place has a great vibe". There are also different "choices of cider and wines as well as pizza". You will be "totally impressed" with "their specialties made with honey/mead". They also "often have live music" and you might even "go back to enjoy the nightlife that they get on the weekend". It has "a large covered area for outdoor events or just a chance to sit and have a nice drink".

Ron Yates Wines

Ron Yates Wines is the sister winery of Spicewood Vineyards. Its "back patio" is "so spacious and relaxing" and "somehow cool despite the 90° weather". It has a "relaxing and welcoming" atmosphere which is "perfect" for an "afternoon visit". They serve wine that is "great, well blended and smooth". You should "definitely try the Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, and Sav Blanc". The staff "don't overwhelm you with a bunch of info but instead let you taste the wine and enjoy the experience". Their "patio is great for a glass" of wine and they also "have live music". They are also "explicitly dog-friendly" so you can "bring your dog to enjoy an afternoon" with you.

Rosemary’s Vineyard and Winery

You will not regret visiting Rosemary's Vineyard and Winery along "Highway 71 near LaGrange". An amazing great couple owns this place and their "service is excellent and the wine is heavenly". One of their wines is the "Muscadine and it is amazing". It is "a sweeter wine but not so sickly sweet that is overpowering". You will also "enjoy" other "dry reds" and "they end the tasting with the Ruby Port" which is "extremely smooth and very tasty" and "even to the dry red snob". You can also enjoy their pairings of "meat, cheese, and fruit tray" and "by ordering the tray you get a real idea of how each wine will go with these appetizers at home".

Saddlehorn Winery

Saddlehorn Winery has a "rustic decor" designed with "exposed beams, warm wood colors", and "cowhide furniture". Expect to see "a Remington-esque cowboy sculpture to greet you as you pull up to the red barn exterior". This place has a "great private room for a reception, family reunions". You can also see "pastures filled with bluebonnets and cows". This place is made for many "perfect photo opportunities". Safari Winery is "very well presented and woodwork detail is premium". You will be "surprised that they break from the norm of local wines and serve South African and Chilean wine". There are also "indoor and outdoor seating, up and downstairs and kids are welcome". Their wines are from the Western Cape region of South Africa and the Lontue Valley region of Chile. You will be "provided a great wine tasting experience" and get served with "delicious wines". You may end up having "new" favorite wines such as "the Carmenere and the Pinotage". They also have "excellent" food pairings such as "cheese and meat platter" plus "the music on weekends" is "great".

This winery is a "great place to relax for the afternoon" and enjoy "some of the best quality" wines you will ever "taste".
