OAK Restaurant is "one of the better spots in Downtown Dallas for a large group (15-30 people) since they have a lush private dining room". It is "a really nice space, set off from the rest of the restaurant, and has these nice plush seats". The "atmosphere is very enlightening, quiet as a library with a beautiful bar". There is also "parking available at the back and complimentary valet". "The food is excellent and in perfect portions". "The breadbasket" is "spot on delicious". The "Char-Grilled Octopus" is "phenomenal" and the "steaks" are "delicious and perfectly cooked". The "oysters" are "fresh and served with the right balance of complementary flavors" and the "Brussel Sprouts" are "so good" also. "The drinks are amazing" too. "The staff is attentive and friendly, and they are great about keeping your water glass full". And, they also have the "best cocktails around thanks to the folks behind the bar" too.
