First established in 2019, this family-owned farm in San Antonio, Texas is working towards its goal of being able to rehabilitate its land through regenerative agriculture practices and become a full-time on-farm by 2027 with the support of the San Antonio Metro. Buy "some greens" from them and if you "didn't get to eat them till 3 or 4 days later", they are "still fresh". Texas Dorper Lamb is a family-owned ranch, located near Center Point in the Texas Hill Country. A farm dedicated to selling high-quality Coastal Bermuda hay and Dorper breeding sheep livestock. Dorper is to Lamb what Angus is to Beef and they are the best breed for the meat! These are also 100% Dorper market lambs and packaged lamb cuts. Dorper is a single-purpose breed, developed specifically for premium meat characteristics. They do not produce as much lanolin as wool sheep but the flavor and aroma of the meat are milder than wool sheep meat. There are also abundant coastal hay, native grasses, and forbs on their place along the banks of the Guadalupe River which is very conducive to sheep. Raising “all-natural” lamb is the best way to achieve the highest quality product with the fewest negative impacts.
