Dry Creek Farms, which is located in Pittsburg, Texas, sells local fresh produce, grass-fed beef, and Angus breeding bulls. The Angus bulls here at the farm are fertility checked prior to sale. The farm has registered and unregistered Angus bulls. The cattle here are fattened on pastures and not on a lot of grain. Beef is sold in wholes, halves, or individual cuts. You can buy directly from the farm and request how you want your wholes and halves to be cut. Beef hamburger patties are also available here. Besides that, the farm produces a variety of fruits and vegetables like heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, green beans, carrots, potatoes, sweet corn, peas, lettuce, green onions, watermelon, cantaloupe, and bell peppers. They also grow herbs like chocolate mint, sweet basil, oregano, and cilantro.

Boonpeng and David Fisher owns and manages the Fisher Family Farm and Ranch. The couple both grew up in an agriculturally-inclined environment. Boonpeng spent her young to adult years in the rice fields of Thailand while David grew up in a truck farm somewhere in East Texas. Since the 1800s, David's family has been farming in Van Zandt County. Today, with the couple managing the farm, they produce different fruits and vegetables. Of course, that's with a Thai influence, now that Boonpeng is there. Aside from delicious produce, the farm also raises Angus cows and Brangus cows. This family of four, along with their dogs and a cat, relocated to Athens, Texas, in May of 2017 and founded the Good & Able Farmstead. Later on, they added "cows, pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, turkeys, rabbits, and bees" in over a year. Crazy, right? This farm considers itself more significant than a homestead. The Howards "place great value on tradition, resilience, sustainability, and diversity without sacrificing health and flavor". They "produce the tastiest and healthiest meat" for their family and yours. Moreover, they understand that excellent and healthy food costs more, but food contaminated with chemicals lack nutritional value. They allow their animals to root, graze on grass, and soak up the sun. In this way, the animals live more naturally while increasing the nutrient content of their meat. Moreover, they follow the National Organic Program guidelines, growing nutrient-dense food using ecological farming practices. The owners, Larry and Jerri Berry, both manage the small ranch and grow seasonal vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers without harmful materials such as synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or transgenic seeds (GMOs). Besides, they have been doing land farming for over 150 years. With their advocacy, they believe that nourishing the soil and land means taking care of ourselves.
