Review of South Austin Farmers Market by TexasRealFood

The South Austin Farmers Market along S. Congress is a nice place to get out of the sun, sit under the gazebo and take in the public art and general weirdness of Austin". "The park is in the shape of a triangle, with a gazebo in the middle of the park". Also, "if you check out the gazebo, you'll see that it has various Texas scenes and icons carved into the metal". There is also "a handful of local farmers selling goods, which include fresh eggs, okra, sweet peppers, hot peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, patty squash, zucchini squash, basil, cantaloupe, onions, pecan tarts, fresh baked breads, canned goods, pesto, dried fruit, dried tomatoes, herb plants, basil plants, and fertilizer... changing weekly with newly available, always local stuff". This is a "very dog friendly place" and "they have all sorts of plants". And, "there are no restrooms in this park" and "no dog poop pickup stations". "There are a few trash cans" too. "But there are plenty of trees and lots of weirdness in the area". You will "love it and will come back for sure".
