Kevin Lundgren, a fifth-generation farmer, is the proud owner of Lund Produce Company. Since 1991, he has been revitalizing 11 acres of land, transforming it into the thriving Brachgrove Farm, located just 35 miles from downtown Austin. Notably, Kevin's expertise caught the attention of a neighboring family with a history of shallot cultivation dating back to the 1800s. Entrusting him with their surviving shallot plants, Kevin's skillful nurturing led to a substantial harvest in 2008, allowing him to supply local Whole Foods stores and directly serve families by 2009. Brachgrove Farm doesn't stop at shallots; it boasts an array of crops, from Oxblood lilies and onions to corn and broccoli. Kevin's sustainable farming practices and commitment to providing fresh, locally grown produce underline his deep connection to the land and passion for cultivating a variety of delightful vegetables. The husband and wife, Orion and Tina Weldon, are the founders of TerraPurreza. They have been in Spicewood, Texas, since 2015. The TerraPurreza is an organization that aims for the sustainability of vibrant health. They also want to develop a stable habitat by connecting people to regenerative land use. The regenerative agriculture is a collection of food approaches or techniques. This approach focusses on rehabilitating soil health, restoring natural water cycles, and native grasslands. Furthermore, the farm is currently offering raised beds, organic/ pastured eggs, and poultry. Pure Roots Farm offers produce that are pesticide-free,  herbicide-free, non-GMO, and hand cared for by their farmers. It is available for you to see just how much love goes into each plant from seedling to harvest. They are also "partnering with UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems for a new project that will allow students to study the benefits of indoor farming using Grow Solutions' AeroPod technology". Some of the produce they harvest include salad bowl lettuce, oregano, dill, sage and mint.  They also have microgreens like micro garlic chives, micro kale and micro purple kohlrabi.
