Save The World Brewing Company started in 2012 when husband and wife team, Dave and Quynh Rathkamp decided to swap their jobs as physicians to open “Americas first 100% philanthropic production craft brewery.” The brewery produces authentic Belgian-style beer you can feel good about. Everything about the ingredients are thoughtfully chosen. They uses select group of hops that European brewers have designated for centuries as being superior hops. Its malt is imported from Belgium or Germany, and even the local water is perfect for the process. Save the world brewing also offers some games that you can play including corn hole, big block jenga, ring toss, as well as cards & board games. Originally established by two husband-and-wife teams in 2011, Double Horn Brewing Company has been under new ownership since Fall 2016. The brewery continues to take pride in “providing some of the best beer in Central Texas”. The brewery takes its name from a tiny Texas town founded in 1885. It refers to an incident at the nearby creek where the “remains of two bucks with interlocked antlers” were found. Presumably, the deers tussled and died with antlers entangled. The brewery hopes “to capture, preserve, and celebrate the pioneering spirit and inventiveness” of the early Texas communities. At the time of its opening, the Double Horn was the only brewery in Burnet County. It still is. Despite the change in ownership, they continue to serve both lunch and dinner. Josh Alexander, the new owner, expanded the menu and included takeaway and catering options. Besides their in-house brews, they also have guest beers on rotation.

Bear King Brewing Company owes its name to the legend of the bear king of Marble Falls. Guidry brothers JD, Grant, and Blake, together with Jackie Blakely, their sister, joined forces and took on different roles in putting up the company. Each sibling undertakes a different side of the business with JD, a professional brewer, as head brewer. The brewery and taproom offers the community of Marble Falls a place to gather because they believe that “stories… whether tall tales or plain truth, are (best) shared over a beer”. They currently have six beers on tap, with plans to can their brews. The taproom and restaurant is 5,500 square feet of indoor seating for 200 guests. There’s outside seating at the “Beargarten”, with patio games and live music for the family-friendly space. Just like the local legend that inspired its name, they hope that their guests can create legends of their own.

Hell or High Water Brewing is a brewpub with a full kitchen situated at the heart of historic Liberty Hill, Texas. Their brewing facility is still being finalized. While this is being done, they serve guest taps from other notable Texas-based breweries. With outdoor and more intimate indoor seating areas, Hell or High Water Brewing in Liberty Hill serves as the area’s foremost destination venue well suited for hosting a variety of events accented by craft beer and other product offerings.

San Gabriel River Brewery is a small craft brewery that was established in 2015 just outside the Hill Country of Central Texas. They started home brewing in the garage, moved up to small building, until they got all of their licenses and built the new much larger building. Started out with 1 beer, San Gabriel River Brewery is now producing “8 different types of beer and ale ranging from a German Weiss up to a Honey Porter.” They keg and bottle their own products. For your drinking pleasure, they serve pints, tastings and growler fills at their tap room. San Gabriel River Brewery enjoys the rich craft of brewing beer and they look forward to providing a quality beer/ale for many years to come.

Established in 2011 and open to the public in 2015, husband and wife team Greg and Julia Parma own and manage Bull Creek Brewing Company. In a reversal of roles, Julia retains the title of headbrewer although it’s Greg who comes up with the recipes. Julia works full time at the brewery and taproom and manages the actual brewing, bottling, and selling of their beers. Meanwhile, Greg’s job as a full time financial analyst keeps him away from the brewery most times. That puts Julia in a class of her own. The brewery is Liberty Hill’s (and Williamson County’s) first production brewery. There’s a patio with outdoor seating, and the brewery opens from Fridays to Sundays. The large open space surrounding the brewery's metal building makes it a great space for kids and pets. The brewery offers a Secret Sipper Society membership that gives members certain privileges at the brewery.
