Brotherwell Brewing opened in February 2018 to serve the Central Texas community with “locally crafted beer of the highest quality”. Founded by friends Jacob Martinka and David Stoneking, it aims “to bring Central Texans closer to the brewing experience”. True to its commitment to the community, the brewery regularly hosts events at the taproom. Once a “scrap yard” and a “tire jungle”, the spacious taproom played host to many fundraisers, a Shakespeare play, stand-up comedies, live music, and the Eastside Market. According to its owners, “bringing the community in… elevates the place more than we can by ourselves”. Currently with a 15bbl production capacity, Brotherwell beers currently can be found in other bars in Waco. Plans for the future include canning their own products. They don’t serve food at the taproom, but there are food trucks available on most days.

Dancing Bear Pub in Waco, Texas is a popular pub for locals and out-of-town visitors. They aim to “provide a great spot to converse with friends and family while drinking some great beers, ciders, and wines”. The pub doesn’t brew its own craft beers, but as “Waco’s home for craft beer”, they provide a rotating pub menu of 16 craft beers on tap and over 90 different canned and bottled beers from various craft breweries. Opened to the public in August 2007, they initially started with just serving drinks to bar patrons and providing growler fills. In October 2019, they’ve started to offer gourmet food dishes to accompany the lineup of craft beers. Dancing Bear owner Paxton Dove teamed up with an old friend and chef Brandon Bailey, and both plan to rotate the menu just as the pub does with its drink selection.

Opened in June 2015, Bare Arms Brewing is Waco’s first brewpub. It’s a relaxed, welcoming, family-friendly destination owned by Keith Collier and Justin Veach. The brewery has six creations regularly on tap including Creekside American-style lager, Bluecat Ale (a blonde ale), and Java Joule (a coffee stout). They also have a variety of specialty brews, and now offer barrel-aged beers. The name of the brewery comes from the owners’ work philosophy to “simply roll up your sleeves, bare your arms, and go to work” instead of just dreaming to brew one’s beer, or to open a brewpub. With its trailblazing, the brewpub has cemented its place in Waco folk history. Plans are in place for the brewery to can its own beers soon. For now, they welcome special events at their taproom, which has games and AV equipment for their patrons’ enjoyment.

Located thirty-five minutes Southwest of Fort Worth in historic Granbury, Texas, Revolver Brewing is one of the fastest growing microbreweries in Texas. It is a family owned business founded by father and son, Ron and Rhett Keisler, along with seasoned Master Brewer and Cicerone, Grant Wood. They take extreme pride in “brewing world-class beer” in the Texas countryside. Their knowledge of brewing, hard work, and attention to each detail is evident in every beer they craft. Some of their offerings include “German-style pilsner, your Blood & Honey American ale, the citrus-forward Full-Tang IPA, and more.” They use fresh water from their own Trinity Aquifer well and brew their beer incorporating seasonal local ingredients. They also offer Saturday tours with tastings, live music & on-site food vendors.

Started out as a labor of love in the kitchen, Railport Brewing Company is a dream come true for its owners. It is the first family owned and operated brewery in Ellis County, Texas that produces hand crafted beers. They are brewing traditional style, “hand-crafted American, Belgian, and German Ales” in house. Their Flagship Brews are available on tap year round and they also offer “small batch and seasonal brews on rotating taps” in the Tasting Room. Every Saturday, they open the brewery & tasting room for you to enjoy their brews by the glass, flight, or take a brewery tour at a special price of $15.00. Brewery Tours include 3 brews of your choice from their Flagship Taps or you can select 1 of your 3 from their Small Batch and Seasonal Taps. Located in the heart of Old Town Burleson, Old Texas Brewing is a 100 year old historic restaurant and brewpub that provides good food, cold drinks and the best local live music. They have a little something for everyone from House Smoked BBQ, Tacos, Southern cuisine, Burgers and the best Brisket Nachos in town. Their full bar, wine list and 30 draft beers on tap lets you “explore endless drink possibilities” while keeping them cold on their Ice Rail. They have a Skybar that is located on the rooftop, offering full service menu and bar with live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8:00 PM. Come early to get your seats!

By The Horns Brewing opened in late January 2019, at The Backyard in Downtown Mansfield. The brewery is part of restaurateur Jason Boso’s latest project, and has brewmaster Justin Meyers at the helm. Ably assisted by Charli the “assistant brewmaster”, Justin currently has about seven signature brews. By The Horns shares common space with Tacos and Avocados, another of Jason’s restaurants. Together, the two businesses generate rave reviews from guests such as this: “Great tacos and craft beer!” Add to the lot Twisted Root (a burger place) and Hypnotic Emporium (everything ice cream), and you’ve got HEAVEN. The brewery and Tacos and Avocados share a common indoor seating space, but all four establishments share a large outdoor area. They are open daily and it’s family-friendly and very pet-friendly area. When you meet Charli, you’ll know why this particular establishment loves your pooches. There's live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 10pm.

Dirty Job Brewing’s owners are husband and wife Derek and Lashawn Hubenak, and Derek’s best friend, Justin Watson. They named their brewery after the “dirty work” they did to get the brewery up and running. Fourteen months hence, after a modest start in 2017, the trio set out to expand their capacity in 2018. With a “forgivable loan” from the city of Mansfield, the team’s expanded operations now includes a kitchen. They are also able to produce larger quantities of their award-winning beers. The brewery’s location is in downtown Mansfield and one of its goals is to help in the revitalization of the area. Now that the brewery's founders have done their bit, they invite guests to enjoy the area’s shops, restaurants, and many art installations. Oh – and to keep up with the brewery’s events and what’s on tap, they’ve got an app to help you out!
