They aim to “provide a great spot to converse with friends and family while drinking some great beers, ciders, and wines”. The pub doesn’t brew its own craft beers, but as “Waco’s home for craft beer”, they provide a rotating pub menu of 16 craft beers on tap and over 90 different canned and bottled beers from various craft breweries. Opened to the public in August 2007, they initially started with just serving drinks to bar patrons and providing growler fills. In October 2019, they’ve started to offer gourmet food dishes to accompany the lineup of craft beers. Dancing Bear owner Paxton Dove teamed up with an old friend and chef Brandon Bailey, and both plan to rotate the menu just as the pub does with its drink selection.
