After a long circuitous life journey, husband and wife John and Kathryn found their true calling by establishing Holler Brewing Company. Thank the beer gods that the Hollers decided to move to Houston in 2009. To prepare, both ditched their unrelated old jobs, and separately undertook a different route towards the brewery business. John earned his diploma from Siebel Institute of Chicago. Kathryn, meanwhile, racked up hands-on experience at a brewery in Florida. In November 2016, they finally opened the brewery and haven’t looked back since.
At the taproom, find a rotating list of about 6-8 beers. Stop by often. They have created over 100 brewing recipes since they started, and you’re bound to find something new with each visit. As if the beers aren’t enough, every Wednesday is Steak Night with their partner, Snow Topi.
