Its current brewer, James Carlyle, took over after his mentor Dave Ohmer left. According to James, the brewery is “an off the wall concept of grocery store and brewery in one”. This Houston location on 1700 Post Oak Blvd also distributes to a few bars including The Flying Saucer and Craft Beer Cellar. The other location in San Jose also has a brewery but does not serve other accounts. According to an online interview with James, the team uses a 5BBL system for now but hopes to expand soon, including canning their own brews.
