Luckily, they settled on “Turning Point”, which appropriately describes the different milestones they accomplished to get where they are. These milestones, among others, include two of its founders working for “two of DFW’s most respected craft beer breweries” prior to putting up their own. They also had to win the support of the Bedford community, some of whom opposed the opening of the brewery. Despite the challenges, they finally opened on March 2018.
The owners chose the Mid-Cities location because it “is where a lot of people live”. The brewery specializes in New England-style hazy beers, with one publication saying they put “unique spins on underrepresented beers”. The owners hope “to mark a ‘turning point’ for craft beer” in the neighborhood. By the way, you have six seconds to guess what the name of the brewery could have been.
