Fort Sam Houston is a post of the U.S Army located in San Antonio, Texas. It is named after Sam Houston who was an important leader of the Texas Revolution. Fort Sam Houston also has its own Independent School District, which makes it one of the three military facilities to have one, all located in the SA area. Fort Sam Houston also has a museum in its area. The museum itself tells a story since the area’s beginning, as the Post in SA. The museum was built in 1876. And looks over on Forst Sam Houston Quadrangle which is actually the oldest building situated in this place. It was built by George Henry Griebel.
