Holler Brewing Company

Craft Brewery in Houston - 24.60 mi

After a long circuitous life journey, husband and wife John and Kathryn found their true calling by establishing Holler Brewing Company. Thank the beer gods that the Hollers decided to move to Houston in 2009. To prepare, both ditched their unrelated old jobs, and separately undertook a different route towards the brewery business. John earned his diploma from Siebel Institute of Chicago. Kathryn, meanwhile, racked up hands-on experience at a brewery in Florida. In November 2016, they finally opened the brewery and haven’t looked back since. At the taproom, find a rotating list of about 6-8 beers. Stop by often. They have created over 100 brewing recipes since they started, and you’re bound to find something new with each visit. As if the beers aren’t enough, every Wednesday is Steak Night with their partner, Snow Topi.

To much publicity in November 2016, the brewery announced the company's acquisition by Anheuser-Busch InBev. With this development, the brewery expects to expand capacity to 150,000 barrels per year in 2019. The brewery continues to produce popular its "mainstays" Hopadillo IPA, Love Street Kolsch-Style Blonde, and Crawford Bock, among others. They also continue to produce their popular seasonal and specialty series beers. Tip: The brewery conducts daily tours with schedules posted on their website. They require visitors, however, to wear closed-toe shoes.
