The distillery repeated its win with a gold in the 2018 edition. In 2018, Marlene Holmes joined Marsha at Ben Milam as Head Distiller. Formerly from Jim Beam, she brings 27 years industry experience to the young distillery. Finally, in a casting coup of sorts, Marsha announced in early 2019 that world-renowned whiskey expert and author Heather Greene would join as CEO and Partner. Together, the three are launching the Milam & Greene Whiskies line.
