Irving is a principal city in Texas. It is located in Dallas County. As stated by the census, in 2018, there was an estimate of around 242,242 population of the city. This makes the city the thirteenth most populated city in Texas. The town was founded in 1903. By Otis Brown and J.O “Otto”. It is believed that the town gained its name from a literary author Washington Irvin who was favored by Netta Barcus Brown. The town was incorporated on April 14th, 1914.
