Turning Point Beer

The owners of Turning Point Beer had another name in mind for their brewery. Luckily, they settled on “Turning Point”, which appropriately describes the different milestones they accomplished to get where they are. These milestones, among others, include two of its founders working for “two of DFW’s most respected craft beer breweries” prior to putting up their own. They also had to win the support of the Bedford community, some of whom opposed the opening of the brewery. Despite the challenges, they finally opened on March 2018. Brutal Beerworks owners Eric Johnson, Sallie McIntyre, and Jason Perez named their craft brewery after the “brutal” journey towards opening their dream business. Eric had been a passionate homebrewer and Jason is a professional brewer at another brewery.
