The dream took a “brutal” route including application delays due to the government shutdown. Fundraising and many other problems came their way. The owners initially came up with a different name for Brutal Beerworks, but in the end, the name seemed fitting. Brutal, yes, but (or is it “and”?) it’s definitely good beer according to initial reviews. On a side note, Eric’s giving away free beer to the first person to give the original name they thought of for the brewery.
