They strive to create a brand and a beer, that is gritty, true and honest. Although they may create a fancy beer every once in a while, Red Gap Brewing wants to create beer that appeals to the person who likes beer for beer. Their core beers includes “1878 Lager, a traditional American Lager; The General, an American Pale Ale; and Pretty Witty Amber, an Amber Wheat Beer.” The brewery also have seasonal offerings like Big Dam Porter, which is a very approachable 6% ABV. There is often a food truck outside and you can buy some food and bring it inside.
