Founded in 1999, Aunti Sue's Barn has been a beloved 10-acre farm near Denton, Texas for over two decades. Managed by Sue Newhouse and Brian Odwyer, the farm offers greenhouses, a beehive, an orchard, and a red barn. They grow a variety of produce such as asparagus, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, peaches, nectarines, and flowers. Their products can be found at Coppell Farmers Market, Denton Community Market, and Robson Ranch Market. Visitors also enjoy homemade cobblers, artisan bread, fruit preserves, and flavored apple cider vinegar. Aunti Sue's Barn promotes sustainability through U-pick events, workshops, and volunteering opportunities.

Also known as Integrated Pest Control, it is a broad-based approach that integrates practices for economic control of pests. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) aims to suppress pest populations below the economic injury level. It is the careful consideration of all available pest control techniques and subsequent integration of appropriate measures that discourage the development of pest populations and keep pesticides and other interventions to levels that are economically justified and reduce or minimize the risks to human health and the environment. IPM emphasizes the growth of a healthy crop with the least possible disruption to agro-ecosystems and encourages natural pest control mechanisms.

Farms marked with Transitional will still be working towards minimizing, and eventually eradicating, their use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and other mechanical interventions that don’t meet with organic practices.
