Agua Dulce, which means fresh water, is a Nueces County city in Texas, US. The city’s name (fresh water) is derived from a nearby creek. Agua Dulce was founded in 1900 and had a population of 812 by 2010. According to the 2010 census, the city had a population of 737. The population comprised of 234 households and 200 families. Out of the 234 households in the city, slightly less than half of them lived with children aged below 18 years. About two-thirds were married couples who lived together, and 16 percent were single-mother families. The rest, about 14 percent, were non-families.
