They have "great drinks and the tour" is "amazing". This new craft distillery with industrial scale capacity produces a variety of spirits, such as Vodka, Gin, Rum, Whiskey and Bourbon. You will have "a great time". The tasting room is above the distillery. You will be able to see the production process while you are enjoying your time drinking. The name of the tasting room is "Ben's Den" after Uncle Ben’s rice.

Their Prickly Pear and Jalapeno Spirits fall into the official category of “Specialty Distilled Spirit”. Hill Country Distillers has a line of spirits which includes the Texas Revenge Gin and liqueurs which they call Texas Dulces. "They make great cocktails, have a wonderful concept, and give free tastings!!" With a "unique distillation and infusion process that gives plenty of flavor". Highway Vodka is Houston’s premier vodka distillery. The distinct character of their vodka is its unique strain of hemp seed. "It is refreshingly smooth". Come out and try this Texas' first hemp-based vodka. The owners are big time believers of the hemp plant. They also used locally sourced corn and water from an artesian aquifer in the process of making their vodka. Iron Goat Distillery started "distributing in the Summer of 2018". If you want to visit this distillery, you may need to contact them by calling or sending an email. Their hours are by appointment only. They produced some of "the best you'll ever have". These include Agave Spirit (Silver), Amber Rum, Honey Spirit, Silver Rum, Texas Heat Cinnamon Rum, and more coming soon. You can also find their products at several liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and even golf course. All of their products are distilled one time to preserve maximum flavor in a 50 gallon pot still. Each item is fermented, distilled, bottled and labeled in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Jimmy Hines was a torpedo bomber pilot in WWII and his goggles are the inspiration for the brand and his attitude the inspiration for the tagline 'through hero's eyes'. Jimmy's Texas Bourbon made a "neat trick". They "mask the youth of the whiskey by dousing it in Port! So what does it taste like? Port with corn whiskey poured into it. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but that's not really a bourbon thing either". Plus, "the port is definitely there but not so overpowering that you can’t tell it’s a bourbon either". You can "definitely get the classic vanilla, caramel and fresh oak in both the nose and palate with the added touch of the fruits of the port wine". Local Goat Distillery partnered with Veldhuizen Cheese and they used their whey for the base of their vodka, acting as natural sugar. Their name was inspired by the Nine Banded Armadillo which is the official state small mammal of Texas. Nine Banded Whiskey blends their whiskey with "limestone-filtered water from the Texas Hill Country". Distilled in Kentucky and bottled in Austin, their whiskey is "a soft whiskey despite its higher proof". It has "some peanut character amidst the caramel corn". The "palate is highly, surprisingly approachable at full strength, with the popcorn notes of young, corn-heavy spirit almost impossible to get around". You can also taste "hints of cola, red rope licorice, and hemp rope". It is a "mix of sweet and savory" flavor "that seems destined for mixing with Coke".

Oak and Eden has a patent-pending technique called in-bottled finishing. It is the first of its kind because they believe that it all has to do with the wood. They placed a 5” long spiral cut piece of wood into every bottle of their fully aged whiskey. There are hundreds of botanicals and countless flavor and texture characteristics inside any given species of wood that are responsible for most of the flavor and all of the colors in any whiskey. Even if you are "not a whiskey lover" and even "cautiously optimistic", you should try their product. You will be able to "love how smooth it is when mixed for flavored cocktails".
