They have been the first among the rest. RAILEAN Distillers is the Original Texas Rum. They were the first distillery to make an aged spirit in Texas. Some of the first products they have launched include Original Texas Spiced Rum™, Original Texas Coconut Rum™, and the Original Texas Sugar Cane Rum™. RAILEAN also made the First Texas Agave Spirit™. When you visit their place, you will "LOVE the pirate atmosphere and everyone is so nice". The tour that they offer is "pretty high-level chemistry but the tastings" are "really fun" and you can also get "free shot glasses included in your price complimentary tastings". Plus, "samples of a cake made with their rum".

Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling

Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling is the only “brewstillery” in Texas and they have won several awards already. When you visit, "don't be fooled by the somewhat nondescript surroundings". You "just open the door and your senses and warm welcome will let you know you are in the right place". The tour they offer is "the most informative" if you "have been on several brewery/distillery tours" already. You also "get to sample their whiskey and 2 of their full-size beers". Also, "for a small surcharge, you can also try two of their award-winning whiskey". They have "great choices for beer and the bourbons and rye are great". This is "a must stop when you're in San Antonio!"

Rebecca Creek Whiskey

Rebecca Creek Whiskey is one of the first distilleries built in South Texas since prohibition. It is an "awesome place to just sit and relax drinking great tasting whiskey and vodka and listening to live music". They also "have a fenced dog area, yard games like corn hole and darts". They even "host trivia and karaoke!" Their Rebecca Creek Whiskey has "barrels spices and woody aromas". It also has "a touch of vanilla and dried herbs" that are "fairly subdued". The "taste follows suit with a bit of pepper and more barrel spices". "The finish is fairly clean and slightly bitter".

It is "smooth and enjoyable on ice or however, you wish to drink it". It also has a "beautiful bottle too" because it has the shape of the map of Texas that truly embodies their Texan spirit. Revolution Spirits is a "solid distillery" with "awesome creative cocktails". You will be "really impressed by what these guys are producing here: High-quality gin & other spirits, & beautifully crafted artisan cocktails". Their "Austin Reserve Gin is fantastic" and "this is a very cool place to get away from the city". You "always have a good time" for the "fresh, distinctive gin and other distillates in an unassuming business park shared by a cidery and brewery". They also have "superb burgers with onions grilled into the burger". Also, when you visit "on a chilly night, the warm drinks are epic". They have "great staff to assist with the tasting too!"

Brewing since 1996, Real Ale Brewing Co is a "beautiful spot in the hill country". They have a "great selection of beers and flights". This brewery "now has spirits as well and their craft beers to go". With "super friendly staff" and "laid back hill country experience", a visit is "great any day of the week but lower-key weekdays". They also "do a great job of hosting events with an awesome taproom and party area". You can choose from a "wide selection of on-site brewed beers" as well as "bourbon and gin, which is pretty darn good!" They are also a reputable supporter of "the running and cycling community and are big giving back to the community".

Rocking M Ranch Distillery

Located in the southern backwoods of Clay County Texas. Rocking M Ranch Distillery is a "small rural distillery about 30 minutes outside of Witchita Falls", Texas with "very friendly owners". Their "spirits are stand-out, the drinks are delicious, and the company is good". They make fine bourbons using fresh local grown grain and clear Texas well water. You can schedule a free tour of their facility. You will be able to see the process they use to create varieties of shines, bourbons, and whiskies. Their place is also available for private events. They have space and the whiskey to make your next get-together memorable.

Saint Liberty Whiskey distillery is the only company that gives recognition to the untold stories of pioneering women bootleggers through their products. Their Bertie Brown’s, Bear Gulch Bourbon has "stone fruit and candied oranges on the nose and slightly smoky with hints of caramelized vanilla, apricots, and brown sugar". It also "has dried fruits on the spicy rye finish". This is a "great unique and interesting bourbon". It has a "nice complex spice without the typical rye heat" with "enjoyable grain-almost dark bread or cereal finish". Sangiovanni Distillery is a "Great Local Texas Distillery" that produces ATX Vodka which is locally made in small batches from a private spring water source in Austin, Texas with a hint of sweetness from the corn that it's made from. ATX Vodka is "a smooth and sophisticated flavor that" you will "really" enjoy. "It's well worth a try ... and a few more after that". A "super-smooth vodka, especially chilled over ice". The "owners take true pride in their product to make sure it is the absolute best vodka available!!" They also have recipes available on their website which you can try if you want to drink different cocktails.

Seersucker Distillery "is a gem only found right outside San Antonio" with "great space indoors and outdoors". It is a "bit of a drive but once you’re there you want to come back immediately". Seersucker Distillery produced "some of the best cocktails" that are "tasty, refreshing and satisfying on a hot summer day". An "excellent venue to relax and appreciate a craft", their "gin is very underrepresented in the land of margaritas" but they still "thrives due to its distinctly southern honey and mint notes". When you visit, you should "order the flight because it comes with all three gin flavors" and "both vodkas".

They have "great spirits" and they are a "great company!" Southwest Spirits is the 3rd largest distillery in Texas. A solution based company for large scale products. Their place is strategically located in Dallas, Texas near I-35. With a premium portfolio of brands that give satisfaction for a wide variety of industry needs and opportunities, it is good to say that "their products are exceptional!" Their portfolio also includes award-winning brands. The company also creates, registers, distills and bottles spirits brands for key business partners. They will be updating their website and Facebook when they are open for public tours.

"Get innovative drinks!" Spike Distilling is the world's first and only vodka made from cactus. "It’s so smooth you almost can’t even tell you’re drinking vodka". Visit their place in downtown San Antonio. It's a "very quaint, chic spot" with "good customer service". Even though the "menu changes often", "everything on the menu" is "amazing!" You also "need to try everything because there isn't anything that is bad". The "ambiance" is also "very relaxed and contemporary!" It has a "modern feel with classic touches" and "the outside patio" can "take you away from the city". Plus, "the owner is so passionate about his craft".

Spirit of Texas

Spirit of Texas is one of the oldest operating distilleries in Texas. They have "a nice small bar area and then a large lounging area with several tables and couches". The "nice drinking room with very comfortable seating added a really nice touch" to the place. They produced Pfluger Single Malt Whiskey, Pecan Street Rum, and Straight Silver Rum. These are available in different liquor stores, restaurants, lounges, nightclubs, and bars throughout the state. Their Pecan Street Rum is the only rum in America that is oak-aged with Texas pecans. Their PFLUGER Single Malt Whiskey already won several gold medals. "A must try."

Still Austin Whiskey Co.

Still Austin Whiskey Co. has a "patio area" that "offers a great place to day drink and is dog-friendly". With an "outdoor seating" that "is spacious" and "if it's not too hot out you have no reason to go anywhere else!" You can "start with a flight" and "you'll get a Gin, Clear Whiskey, and a Bourbon!" You must "taste each one and enjoy the art!" and when you are "finished try some signature cocktails". They offer "a good range of cocktails so everyone from the sweet tooth to the neat drinker will be satisfied!" Although "located in a trendy industrial area", still guaranteed that "this is a great spot for an after-work event get-together".

Stinson Distilling

Stinson Distilling is a "neat setup inside a metal building". They are "a smaller distillery on the end of the Distillery, Winery, Craft Beer trail that ends in the Driftwood area of Central Texas". Their "drinks are very tasty but some can be pricey". They have "cocktail concoctions" that "are simply amazing". You will enjoy your drinks because "it is comfortable inside and out with multiple seating options on a nice weather day". They also "have corn hole games set up too". The place is "very close to some of the others". It is "worth a stop in to check it out".    

Swift Distillery

Swift Distillery is owned by a husband-and-wife team and there are just the two of them making everything, by hand. Their Single Malt Texas Whiskey is "light gold in the glass" that is "made in Texas from Scottish malted barley". It "is scented with apples, pears, and vanilla". You can taste "on the palate" that "these notes are echoed along with a lightly charred, smoky note and a touch of cocoa mixed with the vanilla". It also "has a silky" and "oily feel". You can use the locator on their website to find the closest retailer that carries Swift Single Malt.

Tahwahkaro Distilling

Tahwahkaro Distilling has "great craft products made by such passionate and kind folks". You must "try their unique style of 4-grain bourbon whiskey". They have "some of the best whiskey" that you will "ever had" that "tastes like a huge value at under $100". You will "love" their "bourbon" and "the tobacco note" will be "one" of the "first thoughts as well as the chocolate and vanilla" taste. After tasting, all you can say is that “it tastes like a bourbon.”  It is also good to mention that a portion of each bottle goes towards protecting lakes, rivers, and streams against pollution and habitat loss.

Title No 21 offers an "absolutely phenomenal bourbon" which has a "golden amber color". It also has "confected aromas of watermelon candies, candy corn, jasmine tea, taffy, and fresh-pressed apple cider with a satiny, crisp, fruity light-to-medium body and a warming, medium-length pound cake with jam, butterscotch, and black pepper finish". It is "a fruity and outgoing Bourbon with an autumnal vibe". They also have an American Whiskey which is soft but rich with nice notes of toasted oak and vanilla. Their Rye has "flavors of thin mints cookies, pear tart, crushed caraway seed, white flowers, cayenne, and brioche ". It also has "a round, crisp, fruity medium body and a peppery, captivating, medium finish" and "cinnamon sugar finish".

Toddy Blends Winery and Distillery is the oldest wine-based liquor producer in the great state of Texas, Toddy Blends have "great service". Plus, "they really go that extra mile if they run out of what you want". They have been manufacturing and distributing products state and nationwide since 1996. They specialize in products that allow those who hold a beer and wine license to serve cocktails, frozen daiquiris, pre-made gel-shots, and much more to-go. This distillery owned by Toddy Inc. also owns Toddy Oaks which is a beautiful venue for special events and private parties distinguished by many of its gorgeous oak trees. This is the "best spot to come and chill and grab a drink".

Treaty Oak Distilling is a family & dog-friendly distillery with tasting room & craft cocktails. It is "a destination spot" with "a very nice full-service restaurant, a top tier distillery, and a brewery". And "they are now a winery as well!" They have "a nice selection of drink options, and the staff at the main outdoor bar were friendly and helpful". They also have "local musicians playing, family games, a cocktail bar, a garden, and some amazing views of the Hill Country!" Check this place "out whenever you just want to spent some quality time with your friends over good food and fabulous drinks". It is also a good "place for hosting a large group".
