Tony Jataine established Corpus Christi Produce in 1946. Today, his granddaughter, Lura, manages the farm. The farm opened to support the needs of the people of Corpus Christi: from schools, restaurants, and hospitals. They offer a lot of fruits, veggies, and herbs. Currently, they deliver six and a half days a week to service areas like Refugio, Kingsville, Padre Island, Alice, the Coastal Bend, and all areas in-between. They also offer their meat outside Texas like in Hawaii. Furthermore, they have partnered with international truck brokers to deliver their products to Mexico and other parts of South America.
