Christoval Winery is a 25-acre estate vineyard and winery are nestled up to the banks of the spring-fed Concho River in Christoval, Texas. Just 15 miles from San Angelo, Texas, we are located on the western edge of the Texas Hill Country.  The food is "excellent". The winery also "features a chapel, tasting room, and scenic outdoor seating". They also have "an array of wines to fit many tastes". You can also enjoy "a cheese tray and specialty pizza on the terrace" as you drink your wine. "Lovely grounds, good selection of different varieties", in particular, "the Montepulciano, as well as Petite Sirah and a Tempranillo".

Cicada Cellars is a "little gem" that "can easily be looked over but should not be missed". Established in 2018, they have a "unique and edgy tasting room, run by some pretty amazing individuals". They offer distinctly crafted, small-batch wines in a casual atmosphere. They have award-winning wines too. The "Dog Days Rosé was not too sweet but not too dry" which is a "perfect porch drinking wine". Their Tempranillo is a "fabulous, easy-drinking wine with a delightful nose and a light peppery finish". "Simply delicious reds" like the Ruby Eyed Red can become your "favorite" too. Visit them at the corner of 290 and St. Francis (by the big blue "Chevron" sign) in downtown Stonewall, Texas.

Clear Creek Winery

Clear Creek Winery has "a great low key winery and tasting room showing some good wines". The vineyard is an ideal pastoral interlude for you and your friends to relax and sip their Rio Claro wines. Even for a "short visit", you will leave "very satisfied". They are a "small place" but "with some indoor and outdoor seating" and a "nice outdoor patio that is dog-friendly". It is "very relaxing to share a bottle of wine at the outside tables". "When in Kemah, give them a try", they are located "right off of the 260 heading towards Payson or Happy Jack". You may even end up buying "a bottle of Rosé".

Colorado River Winery

Whether you want to have a "nice weekend stop" or when you're on your way to Austin, The Colorado River Winery is "worth the stop if you're in need of a pour". They have a really "neat old building and rustic tasting room" in the Tuscan style where you can relax, taste, sip, swirl and purchase wines. They have "good tasting wines using a combination of local and outsourced grapes" such as the "Seasonal Bliss red table wine", the "smokey and rich" Cabernet or even the "Tempranillo red from a Texas grape". The owner is "very nice and also knowledgeable about the various brands offered". The winery keeps things fresh and fun by introducing different types of both red and white wines made in small batches.

Cooley Bay Winery

Cooley Bay Winery is the only Winery in the city of Van Alstyne and famous for its signature drink, "The Cooley", this winery is "located just a tad more than 40 miles directly north of Dallas (in the Texoma AVA), and immediately near its Highway 75 exit". They have "nice balance of traditional Texas wines as well as some lovely fruit wines". "Most of the menu is sweet wines" but even if "you don't like wines because they are bitter or taste nasty", relax and enjoy and give this "very laid back and relaxing" place a try. "You won't regret it". They have live music on the second and fourth Saturdays, and Cooley Craft Day on the first Sundays of each month.

Cork House Winery

Cork House Winery is the first winery in the historic downtown Waxahachie. With "beautiful mix of tasteful modern" and "small-town retro and rustic wood" design, you will notice that the "staff are all outstanding with knowledge of the different wines and have southern hospitality down to the core". The winemaker has won a couple of amateur winemaking awards so she is not new into this world of winemaking. "Texas High Plains fruit near Brownfield" is the source of their Texas wines. Visit this and enjoy "live music" on weekends. Pair "a meat and cheese tray" to one of their "fabulous wines" and you will "definitely be back".

Cotton Creek Winery

Enjoy wine by the taste, by the glass, and by the bottle in Cotton Creek Winery which is also "perfect for small showers and parties" because "there is no extra storage place at the venue". This is a "cute place for a romantic date". A winery that "is charming, comfortable and cozy". They have "very stylish and chic" rooms with "plenty of places to sit, drink and dine". Their "service is excellent and the cheesecake cannoli is awesome". Their menu "has an inviting selection of delicious cold plates, appetizers, and pizzas". They have a "great selection of wines and ciders" such as "Poblano Pinot Noir and Mango Habanero Hard Cider".

Country Spring Vineyard and Winery

Country Spring Vineyard and Winery formally opened early 2019 and is located on 33 acres, near Lorena, Texas (10 miles south of Waco). They have a five-acre vineyard at the end of their driveway that was first planted in 2013 with the winery on the other side. A patio area with fire pit and waterfall can be seen in the rear of the winery. They also offer a variety of fruit (country) wines such as watermelon, pomegranate, and hard lemonade. This is a "very nice place" and "the owner is very friendly". "It's worth the drive" because "they make a really mellow Cabernet". They are developing wines to please every palate. With a "very friendly and inviting atmosphere", "they truly make you feel like part of the family!"

Cowtown Winery

Cowtown Winery is located in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. They are one of the six wineries comprising Six Shooter Cellars. This is a "great place in the Stockyards to enjoy a glass or flight of wines". Their "bar is quaint" with a "dark ambiance". They are the start of the Stockyards Ghost Tours which they also offer online. "Their dessert chocolates pair great with their Ports". You will have a "pleasurable experience" because this is a "very cute place to enjoy really good wine or cold margarita". Even if you are "not a huge wine fan", they still "have several different frozen Daiquiri drinks as well as Piña Coladas". Aside from Ghost Tours, they also have Blending Classes which you can join via an advance online booking on their website.

Cross Mountain Vineyards

The owner of the Cross Mountain Vineyards lived in Italy and has extensive knowledge of Italian wines. They have an "amazing selection of Italian wines" that are "very full-bodied". Their tasting room is located in downtown Fredericksburg. "If you're a fan of Italian wines" or you "have never tried them then you need to stop here for a wine tasting". Although, "they are in the process of producing their own wines". The wait staff is also "friendly and very knowledgeable". When you are in the Hill Country town of Fredericksburg, stop by for a tasting and you may even end up buying "a bottle of Barolo and a Cab Sauv/Franc blend".

Cross Timber Winery is a quaint winery off the beaten path of Main Street in a historic home, the Historic Brock Family farmhouse, and the "grounds are beautiful". This farmhouse is one of the 5 oldest structures in Grapevine. Their "bartender and bbq buffet staff" are "awesome as well as the management staff". They have a "very cozy outdoor setting with live music". Their "complimentary cheese and crackers" goes well with their "white, red, and rosè wines, ranging from sweet to dry". This is a "quiet winery away from the main Grapevine Main Street bar scene". They have a patio that "has a very serene and relaxing atmosphere".

Crowson Wines is located in a "premier location just off the main square in Johnson City". The owner "conducts a terrific sit-down tasting". Guests should set up a wine tasting appointment for a more personal tasting experience. You will notice "from their storefront" that "they sell a small selection of natural wines" that are "clean, unfiltered, unique and simply delicious". All their wines ferment spontaneously with no commercial yeast strains added during fermentation. With "wonderful wine and phenomenal service", you will never go wrong stopping by when you are going to Johnson City. "This is a MUST for anyone going to the 290 wine area".

D’Vine Wine of Granbury

D'Vine Wine of Granbury is a small boutique winery located in the historic downtown Granbury square. "A wonderful environment that is personal and cozy - the perfect place to sip wine and relax!" They ferment over 20 varieties of wine on-site. They also offer daily wine tasting, custom wine labels, wine-related gifts in a relaxed atmosphere. You will "like their fruit accented wines, such as Peach and Apple". They also have "plenty of fruit flavor without being overwhelming". "One night a week they have karaoke", which should "not be missed". Special events throughout the month make this a fun place to gather, relax, drink wine and socialize. "Friendly and helpful staff" that can help you "find a new wine".

"Grape Vine Springs Winery is a small place" but they have a "very cool laidback vibe". They are located on Main Street in downtown Grapevine, Texas. They have a "diverse and refreshing" selection of wines such as the popular "Rodeo Red" or the "Almond Sparkling". Producing dry reds, dry whites, semi-sweet fruit wines (ten flavors) and dessert ports which are mostly award-winners from national and international competitions. Check out their website for the Night Watchman ghost tour which is "a great way to see downtown Grapevine". You also get to have a "complimentary glass of wine" with the ghost tour. You can also join a blending class so you can custom design a blended wine just for you.

Dancing Bee Winery

Dancing Bee Winery is "located within the Walker Honey Farm shop". Visit them and you will "love the secluded location with a nice view" of this "spacious country store with honey products and selection of mead wines". They "specialize in mead wines made from their honey farm but also have grape wines as well". Try the "Moscato with a meat and cheese plate". A very "interesting" tasting experience and the "cheese board" is a "great balance". The staff is "knowledgeable", "friendly and helpful". They have "plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating" with "great prices as well". Definitely, this winery is "worth the drive".

Delaney Vineyards and Winery

Delaney Vineyards and Winery was established in 1995 and they are the largest vineyard in North Texas. They have a "very cool wine tour with tasting at the end". You will be "able to see fermentation tanks as well as their small bottling room". You will "get a little history and education before" tasting. Visit them "with no expectation other than to drink wine" and you may end up "finding a great deal of valuable information about the founder and their wine". You will enjoy the "surprised smoothness of each wine" such as the "Cynthiana, Muscat Canelli and Three Daughters". The place has a "very rustic look too so definitely worth checking out for engagements or weddings".

Della Terra Farm

Della Terra Farm is "a working farm and vineyard" located just a short easy drive in the country. Going to this "most picturesque place in East Texas", you will enjoy the rolling hills of far Northeast Rains County. As of 24th of August 2019, "after careful consideration", they have already closed their "public tasting room" and are now focusing on "retail wine sales". They will "continue to bake for coffee shops and cater to small private events". Check their website, contact them or send a message thru their Facebook page. "If you love our food, let us bring it to you!" are the words they want to convey.

Dixie Wine Company

Winery in Bullard

You can visit the Dixie Wine Company as you travel "across the area in Bullard". "Small hole in the wall place", it has a "great little rustic atmosphere". "Very friendly and welcoming" husband-and-wife team runs the winery. Before visiting, "you need to contact owner Jerry Collins to verify the open hours". They have "good Texas sweet and not-as-sweet wines that they make themselves". They make wines from fruits and grapes they grow with some fruits that are from out of state. "Some of their fruit wines include peach, strawberry, kiwi, raspberry, and watermelon". Some of the "favorite wines" they have are the "Love Potion #9 and Cliffs Special".

Driftwood Estate Winery

The Driftwood Estate Winery is "a very beautiful place inside and out" that sits on a bluff overlooking the Estate Vineyard and the Hill Country from which visitors can enjoy award-winning wines. They have "a nice variety of wines to choose from and enjoy-- red, white, or sweet" such as the "Lone Star Cab" which is "by far" one of their "best". "A classy winery" that is also a "non-smoking venue so you take it the lovely fresh air of the hill country". They do not allow kids "anywhere on the winery grounds" so get a babysitter and leave the kids at home for maximum fun! A restaurant named "Driftwood Bistro" is also available.

Dry Comal Creek Vineyards

Winery in New Braunfels

The Dry Comal Creek Vineyards is "super close to Canyon Lake and New Braunfels" and "this gem has lots of outdoor space and some delicious wine offering". They have "furniture of wine barrels" that is "really nice".  For the tasting, you will need to call them for reservations. All of their wine is 100% Texan,  Cote du Comal, Roussanne (the best in the state), Sangiovese, Tempranillo to name a few.
