Rule is a town in Haskell County, Texas, United States. It has a population of 636. The town was named after a railroad man W.A. Rule. It’s a city in humid subtropical climate and that’s noticeable by its weather that hot and rather humid with mild winters. The first railroad and the post office was opened in 1903 and that’s where the city came about. The first newspapers and a bank were founded in 1906. The city features a veteran monument with the names of all the solders from Rule that gave their lives for their country. It was erected in 1990.
